You’re going to decide in advance how much you believe God is going to do for you; and you’re going to be thankful for what you hope He’s going to do without knowing if He is going to do it at all. That is the Feast of Pentecost; and it’s still celebrated to this day. God is doing a heart-check. It says in Deuteronomy 6:10b, “Bring a voluntary offering in proportion to the blessings you’ve received from God.” But you don’t know exactly what those blessings are going to be. But, here’s the thing—you don’t get to do it alone. God gives instructions. He says your family, your household, even your farm laborers are all going to be a part of this celebration, and you’re all going to be part of the giving.
