Lake Community Church

In Jesus' Day, children had very little social worth. Jesus confronts that perception, and instead of meeting with adults, he spends time with children. Culturally, what Jesus was doing was very embarrassing, as evidenced by the way his disciples reacted. If we are to be followers of Jesus, we also must be prepared to be embarrassed for the sake of children, and be embarrassed for the sake of the Kingdom.
