This week, we were blessed to be joined by our District Superintendent, Pastor Jerry Kester. He shared with us the importance of properly reading the Bible. While speed-reading may be a valid approach to other texts, it can lead to missing some important information when used to read the Bible. Additionally, he spoke about how important it is to live our lives in a way that brings restoration to those who feel 'done' with any sort of religion.
