As his business grew, he began organizing autograph signings with an impressive roster of professional athletes that included Stan “The Man” Musial, Bob Gibson, Lou Brock, Jim Edmonds, Brooks Robinson, Pete Rose, Keith Hernandez, and many more. Retired St. Louis Cardinal powerhouse Jack Clark, impressed by the young entrepreneur’s business acumen, hired John as his agent. At 16, John became the youngest sports agent in the country.
