Sinopse

On July 12, 1979, something quite profound happened at a Chicago White Sox baseball game that would make history. In his book Disco Demolition: The Night Disco Died, radio legend Steve Dahl, journalist Dave Hoekstra, and photographer Paul Natkin explain, in full, the culturally and politically significant meaning behind Disco Demolition, an event that was meant to boost fan attendance at Comiskey Park. Yet what resulted was more than anyone could have imagines –fans stormed the field, the ballpark was evacuated and the second game of a double header was cancelled –for the first time ever in a Major League Baseball history.   We talk about it on the air today! Join us and Steve Dahl. We'll also talk about the Mets, soccer, college football and more!
