When traveling down a road, we’ve all commented, “We’re making good time.” But the truth is we’re not making time. Maybe saving time. But we can’t make time. From the wealthiest to the poorest, everyone is allotted 24 hours a day. No differentiation, no discrimination. Same for all. There’s just one decision: How will you use that time? Making time, however, does have one key aspect in regard to use of it. What do you make time for? Truthfully, unless you make time for what’s most important, it’s almost certain to get squeezed out of your schedule. Early in this Advent season, we are given the gift of a choice. For what will we make time? It’s really making space in our day for what matters most. God. Spouse. Children. Family. Friends. Quiet. Service. Prayer. Kindness. What’s your choice?
