Trucking Answers

The tragic truck accident in Colorado was in the news again today as the driver was charged with 40 counts.  Good.  He says it was an accident but we may never know as the truck burned to the ground along with many other vehicles.  This driver has over a year of experience.  That would be enough to be a trainer at some companies like Schneider and England.  I think that eventually he will plead guilty to a charge or two and get some time in jail and then be deported.  He is here legally on a Green Card which allows him to work. Falcon Transport closed its doors for good as well.  Drivers were stranded around the country but only about 80 of them.  Some companies, like ShipEx, stepped up to the plate and offered transportation home and food to the drivers with no obligation.  Thank you.  That is how trucking should be.  For the executives that closed Falcon, may you forever be spit upon by truckers everywhere.  Unfortunately, people like this mostly just go on with their lives and nothing happens to them.
