EN: Welcome to Radio Aluna Theatre! Join us for our fourth episode of Season 1, and our first Merendiando episode! Radio Aluna Theatre works like this: First we’ll present a full-length stage play adapted for the radio, in a series of episodes. Then your hosts Monica and Camila will present a Merendiando episode, where we’ll discuss topics that the play inspires with community members, artists involved in the production, and/or whatever our heart desires. Think of it as a book club for plays.  This week, Monica and Camila sit down with the wonderful Toronto-based theatre artist Augusto Bitter. Augusto voiced the title character of Leo in Leo by Rosa Labordé, the play we've been following for the past three weeks. In this episode we talk about leaving home, finding home, tar sands vs. Tarzan, and learning our Latinx history through plays.
