It's hard to say where I would be if I had not found these people or this race but I believe that I would be in a very different spot. The Sylamore 50k and the people that are part of it are very special to me. For five years in a row this race has meant something different each year but it always means gratitude and appreciation for everything that I have been through and all of the people who have helped me get through it. As always, I don't travel far without recording equipment and I am always quick to cram a microphone in anyone's face who is willing to tolerate it. I am fortunate that the people around me appreciate the LHRL® Podcast and are willing to subject themselves to the discomfort of putting on a headset while the cameras and equipment record.
