A comedian, writer for the 2017 White House Correspondence Dinner, former lawyer, and Dallas native Raj Desai came over and we got into growing up one of the very few Indians in Texas, how it still shocks him to this day to see an Indian in TV or film and the fact that it was easier to go to law school, pass the bar and practice law for a while than tell his parents he wanted to be a comedian instead.
