Hopefully you do… perhaps those expectations revolve around people, events, gifts, attitudes, family, friends, and moments as they unfold during the holidays. If you ever had high expectations you also have had moments where those expectations crashed. It is our hope here that Christmas holds for you the most precious memories and wonderful moments over the next few weeks. But what would happen if you missed the Christmas event all together? What happens when your expectations are not met. In Scripture, there are a group of guys who miss the entire Christmas event. Yet in their lives we find real truths to help us in those moments when our expectations are not met and we miss what we wanted to see.
