In 2016, Remark presents Pet Shop Boys: Encomium 1986–2016 was released to celebrate 30 years of Pet Shop Boys. Recorded live in Edinburgh for the event Pet Shop Boys Symposium, the continuous DJ mix featured more than three hours of remixed hits spanning every album across their multi-decade career. Whilst many notable tracks were included, some significant favourites were inevitably missed. So in 2018 the duo’s remarkable catalogue was revisited and Encomium II debuted — packed with additional hits, rarities, remixes, and collaborations. Encomium I and II remain among the some of the most-listened-to mixes ever featured on Remark’s Soundcloud and The Remarkable Podcast. Fast forward to 2026 and we’re now celebrating 40 years of Pet Shop Boys’ contributions to music, art, pop, and the dance floor.
