Sermon Series - Our Fight for Joy - PART 1 For the next few weeks we are going to be exploring the theme of Joy on Sunday mornings at Grace Church Southall (www.gcsouthall.org.uk) I have been reading the book "Spiritual Depression" by late Dr Martin Llyod Jones to understand the cause of spiritual joylessness and how to rediscover the joy of the Christian life.  I have prayerfully selected a few chapters to tackle the issue at hand. Because I have found (even in my own life) at times a lack of joy among christians.  What are the cause and cures of our lack of joy? We explore Psalm 42 and 43 today. Psalm 42:11 - "Why are you cast down, O my soul,     and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,     my salvation and my God."
