In Week 8 of our Revelation series, we walk through Revelation chapters 15–18, where Scripture confronts a topic many Christians tend to avoid—the wrath of God. Rather than being uncontrolled anger, the Bible shows us that God’s wrath is the righteous, pure, and perfectly appropriate expression of His justice. It is the necessary response of a holy God to evil and corruption in the world. These chapters reveal the pouring out of the final bowls of judgment and the ultimate fall of Babylon, a symbol of the world’s systems that lure people away from God through power, wealth, and pleasure. But even in the midst of judgment, the Gospel shines clearly: At the cross, Jesus took the wrath we deserved so that we could receive mercy and grace. Revelation reminds us that the story ends with hope: Evil loses. Babylon falls. Jesus wins. And for those who trust in Him, restoration—not wrath—is the future.
