When I first found out I was expecting I was completely terrified. I thought my career was going to be completely derailed. Throughout the process I gained my confidence and went on to have an unmedicated birth and receive a promotion that same year. I am now pregnant with my second and walking in that same confidence. It has not been easy but I have found strength in the journey and I am the better for it.
