Synopsis: Chapter 21 shifts ahead two decades toward the end of Zedekiah's reign before the fall of Jerusalem to the Babylonians. God set before His people the way of life and the way of death, and it was only by trusting God and defecting to the Babylonians would they survive the coming destruction. The LORD exhorts all people to repent of sin and choose to walk in His ways for our good.
