I enjoy cooking and baking. I love to play piano and sing. I read every day. And Lexi and I have fun doing a jigsaw puzzle every now and then. But I’ve never been into gardening. It’s just not my thing. But Avery is, and she likes berries, so a few years ago, I planted a few strawberry starts in my backyard. Those few strawberry starts slowly began to grow. Eventually those little plants had little blossoms that transformed over time into strawberries! And Avery and I got to pick the fruit and celebrate the gift of berries. Easy to harvest... and delicious. We've been taking these first few weeks of 2026 to remind ourselves of who we are as a church family. We're on a journey together - a family road trip, so to speak - and we're revisiting the shared values that define who we are and shape how we live.
