This week’s Super Bowl festivities have local police agencies staffing up to the max. KCBS's Mike DeWald reports from Moscone Center in San Francisco, the added personnel aims to keep the events, and the city, safe. Seven of the candidates for California Governor took part in the first major gubernatorial debate last night in San Francisco. KCBS's Matt Bigler has more. Alameda has joined an elite group of bike-friendly cities in California. As KCBS's David Welch reports, the city's efforts to make streets safer for riders had been recognized by a national cycling group.
