It was Friday the 13th and the Cubs had to take on old friend Zach Davies. Something had to give. In the end, Davies and the DBacks beat the Cubs 4-3 in Arizona. Ildemaro Vargas hit a 2-run triple to plate two runs that lead to a three runs third inning and that was it for the Cubs. The Diamondbacks responded in the bottom half with three of their own. Drew Smyly pitched six strong innings but allowed four earned runs, including the game winning run on a wild pitch later in the game. The Cubs had a chance to tie or take the lead with the bases loaded in the eighth inning but failed when Alfonso Rivas flew out to end the inning. Cody and Luke break down the game and look forward to tomorrow's game.
