You will not stay angry with your people forever, because you delight in showing unfailing love.” Micah 7:18The book of Micah may not be the most well-known of the Old Testament, but it has some of the most well-known verses and passages. Micah takes on the same challenge as many of the other prophets - sharing God’s message of both judgment and hope. What makes this book unique, however, is the pointedness of his message. He calls out wealthy oppressors and false prophets. He calls out corrupt leaders and how the corruption of the leaders has infected the citizens. His judgment is pointed, but so is his message of restoration and hope. The famous passage from Micah 6:8 says, “The Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”  Micah has a message that continues to resonate today, and to help us navigate th
