We'll talk tonight about the legacy that we have inherited and the ways in which we can carry it forward to other people. If you look around here today, you'll see that these are rare souls in the room, because we are in the midst of the saṅkīrtana movement. Somehow or other, we have been given this opportunity together to carry on the service that Śrīla Prabhupāda got from his spiritual master, and it goes all the way back to Kṛṣṇa. So, the service itself is a high sādhana that connects us to Kṛṣṇa most directly. What's more, it's the purpose of the creation. That's what Kṛṣṇa has in mind every time Mahā Viṣṇu exhales: yasyaika-niśvasita-kālam athāvalambya jīvanti loma-vilajā jagad-aṇḍa-nāthāḥ viṣṇur mahān sa iha yasya kalā-viśeṣo govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi (Brahma-saṁhitā 5.48) All the universes manifest, and then Kṛṣṇa reminds everyone where they left off in the last creation so they can start up again.
