This topic is just really not popular and like, nobody talks about this. We are used to tolerating it. When we are being judgy to ourselves, it’s just assumed to be a lack of confidence or insecurity or something like that. That might be true, but lacking confidence or feeling insecure is different from being judgmental to yourself. Feeling insecure, not confident, having low self esteem, are all the byproduct of being judgmental to yourself. It’s okay and even good to acknowledge your weaknesses so you can do something about it, but just being judgy is like complaining about something without doing anything. That can do no good, only harm. We can even be worse when we’re being judgy to ourselves than to other people because we can pay attention to the details more if it’s about ourselves. I know a story about a girl who was so judgy with herself and she kept having plastic surgeries until at one point, she has had surgeries to tweak anything on her body, she then had a plastic surger
