Are you hoping to visit Corsica? I've got a story for you! I (Kat) did a 9-day road trip around Corsica full of fun, relaxation, adventure, and more! Aside from the stunning beaches in Corsica, there are also ample hiking trails. It is known for the GR20, a multi-day trek known to be one of the most challenging in Europe. While I definitely didn't attempt that, I did hike a portion of it when my friend and I hiked the Aiguilles de Bavella Loop Trail. But things suddenly took a turn when AllTrails information was inaccurate and reviews that claimed it was only a 4.5-hour hike also weren't always fully correct. What was supposed to be a 6.9-mile (11.1 km) hike in 4.5 hours, it ended up being an 8.4-mile (13.5 km) hike that took around 7-7.5 hours. It's not the longest day hike I've ever done… but certainly one where we weren't prepared with ample water.
