Now when everyone has interactive media at hand on a daily basis, the medias role in shaping adolescents take on sex and sexuality has dramatically changed. For better, or for worse? Host Mattias Hansson talks to guest Autumn Shafer, PhD, who is assistant professor at the School of Journalism and Communication, University of Oregon and spend a lot of her working days in the research of sexual media practice. Autumn give us the facts behind the rumours and try to sort it all out. We will also look closer in to the Oxford Handbook of Media Psychology, where this episodes guest, Autumn Shafer, co-wrote the piece called "Sexual Media Practice: How Adolescents Select, Engage with, and Are Affected by Sexual Media".
