During my travels, coming across a centre dedicated to travellers, or more specifically, seafarers, has been incredibly beneficial. When in the area, visiting the San Juan Seafarers House in Puerto Rico has been a frequent stop. I was fortunate enough to interview Rick, one of their longest serving members, regarding the House, how Hurricane Irma in 2017 devastated peoples livelihoods, and how their tough spirit has enabled them to progress afterwards.
