Pete Lee, Compliance Officer & IUL/Annuity Development, conducted a Webinar for those who plan to sell annuities that must understand and abide by the new DOL Rules All annuity sales on June 9 and thereafter that involve Qualified funds (IRA, 401k etc.) must be accompanied by a Disclosure Statement, signed by the client, disclosing, among other things, the percentage amount of the commission to the selling agent.Those of you who are, or have been, securities licensed are very familiar with these types of disclosures. It will only be a detriment if you think it will be.
