Former Ruby On Rails Engineer, Andrew Au chats with me about his coding journey and why he chose to transition out of working in the tech field. He started his journey as a social media manager for a local soccer team which led him to attending a coding bootcamp and dominating ruby on rails in his class! After working as a Ruby On Rails Engineer he realized that it wasn't the best fit for his personality and lifestyle and shares why. I know this may seem a bit counterproductive but it is the true reality of learning how to code. Coding is very fulfilling in a number of ways and everyone should have some knowledge of it... but a full-time job is not the best fit for everyone.
