In 1970s future-Japan there is only one person that is able to or apparently seems remotely interested in stopping a genocidal alien invasion: a psychotic eight-year-old boy with the superpowers of having a gun and absolutely no sense of ethics. We discuss Chargeman Ken! and whether it is possible to pre-fabricate "it's so bad it's good" cult classics and the nature of artistic sincerity/laziness.
