David Dennis drives sales, marketing and surf supply innovationfor Ventana. He was raised in Northern California andlives with his wife and two teenagers by the beach on theWestside of Santa Cruz. His love for surfing, travel,photography and family keeps him grounded and passionate about theworld. David's love for the ocean deepened at the age of 16 when heand his family became certified SCUBA divers. He was an instructorby age 19 and, save a two year stint in Madrid, has always livednear salt water. David began surfing later in life, and it quicklydeveloped into a daily love affair.David graduated from San Diego State University with anundergraduate degree in Sociology and a Master's degree inPolitical Science and has worked as a public school teacher ofat-risk kids.
