We had the pleasure of interviewing Neish McLean, the co-founder and Executive Director of Transwave Jamaica. They are Jamaica's first non-profit organization solely dedicated to focusing on promoting the health and well-being of the transgender, gender non-conforming and intersex communities. During the interview, we got the chance to hear about the path to starting a much needed resource organization for people of trans experience in Jamaica. Neish discussed how they are creating spaces where people are able to be themselves.
