There is a difference between marketing and sales but unfortunately it seems we’ve gotten the two mixed up. And it’s hurting our business. This week we concentrate on Marketing – letting them know you exists. In an upcoming week we’ll talk about Sales – giving them a choice. Here are my 3 Tips to help you with your own marketing: 1. No one is going to do it for you if you aren’t tooting your own horn first. Be bold and be noticed. 2. Don’t dismiss “old school” marketing strategies. A lot of people have abandoned mailing things. You have a good chance of being noticed with something as simple as a postcard or thank you note! 3. Don’t dismiss social media simply because you haven’t taken the time yet to learn how to use it. Develop a strategy and then find the tool. Get help.
