It's the Ernie Banks episode of the E2 Podcast! As the Indians and Rays are beginning a 4 game series, Eric and Eli take the opportunity to do a sort of state of the union on their two favorite teams. How pleased were they with the moves that their teams made both before and after the trade deadline and how are they feeling about their chances in October?  Next the two guys launch in to a discussion about a trend that's becoming more and more common among teams to staff their pitching staffs with strikeout pitchers, which has led to some very inefficient pitching.
