It was 2013 and Megan had a little sister who needed to wear a bra for girls but was offered the bras for women. They found only padded, push up bras with wiring. It was the time when she realized that the market needed comfortable, age-appropriate bras for teens. That was when she thought of setting up her own company, Yellowberry using her savings. She was only 17 then, was a busy high school junior and a nationally ranked competitive skier. She also launched a Kickstarter campaign that raised $41,795 and she began manufacturing and shipping bras. Media around the country picked up on Megan's story—Fortune magazine, Fast Company, The Huffington Post, The New York Times, Good Morning America, The Today Show and others.
