The book, Xtraordinary People, is aimed at young readers 7+ and has been crafted by Kate Griggs, an award-winning social entrepreneur and the founder of Made By Dyslexia, a global charity led by famous and successful dyslexics.  Kate is a leading voice in dyslexia advocacy, she has appeared on television, radio, and TEDx, working to reshape how the world understands and supports dyslexic thinking. Xtraordinary People is a positive and encouraging look at the strengths and challenges of dyslexia and offers valuable support to young readers and also for parents, caregivers, teachers and librarians who have dyslexic children in their lives. It explores the seven different types of Dyslexic Thinking (storytellers, makers, entertainers, movers, imaginers, questioners and ‘people’ people) and how these individual, and sometimes combined, skills can lend themselves to varying careers and life paths.
