Sinopse

LGBTQ youth may experience family rejection, bullying and harassment, or feel unsafe for simply being who they are, all of which can be added risk factors for suicide. Research suggests nearly half of transgender youth have seriously considered suicide, and lesbian, gay, and bisexual youth are four times more likely to attempt suicide compared to their non-LGB peers. Bisexual youth face the highest rates of suicidality among LGBTQ youth, and they also report the highest rates of bullying and harassment by peers.  If you’re a youth and need to talk to someone, call The Trevor Project, which provides a 24-hour crisis hotline for youth, at 1-866-488-7386. If you or someone you know is contemplating suicide, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255. CALL IN LIVE 347-857-2773 PRESS 1
