Today is the second Thursday of the month, which means my “Exploring Tennis Blessing” conversation Mentor was Coach Chuck Kriese. Our conversation was about Wakening Tennis Sleeping Giants, which included small town tennis, high school and college tennis. Coach Kriese discussed the need to stabilize our philosophy; elevating our experts and the need to move high school tennis from an after school activity to a after school sport. Chuck also explained why the dangerous Duel Match competition in college and high school play was one of the changes needed if North American tennis was going to return to its glory days.
