He was re-elected in 1984 and in 1986, after the retirement of longtime Arizona senator and prominent Republican Barry Goldwater, McCain won election to the U.S. Senate.  A Just Cause is currently campaigning for "FreeTheIRP6," who's wrongly imprisoned in Florence, CO for a crime they didn't commit.
