“I give up so much so that my children can have so much” Pi Ngun Pum arrived in Australia as a refugee from the Chin State, Burma. She arrived as a single mother with five children. Despite the hardships and challenges in building a new life in Australia, she has been the noble mother to her children. All the children have completed a bachelor’s degree, and some had a master’s degree and some are currently doing their master’s.
