As part of Black History month, the Director of Retail Image and Design for Burger King Corporate, May Payne Cvengros is talking with host Deardra Shuler about her 17 year tenure as a BKC employee and the opportunities the company afforded her. She has held several distinguished positions in purchasing, marketing and operations, developing and managing the integration of a $20 million comprehensive uniform strategy which saved BK more than $2.8M. She negotiated the purchase of an $80 million restaurant décor and playground equipment program, netting BK a savings of more than $6 million. Currently May manages Brand Image & Design Innovation. Dedicated to community service, May co-founded the Women’s Leadership Forum, an internal organization created to enhance the leadership potential of women.
