Rainbow Soul

Deardra Shuler will talk with Kevin Anthony, one of the power people behind Black2Broadway. In order to give black Broadway performers the acknowledgment they deserved, BLACK 2: BROADWAY was launched by B2 Productions on March 10th, 2002, at B.B. King's Blues Club in Times Square, New York. Their events feature performances by artist such as Savion Glover,Lillias White, Melba Moore, Billy Porter, BJ Crosby, Marva Hicks, Malik Yoba, and Phylicia Rashad. Black 2 Broadway is a monthly, professionally produced variety show designed to spotlight and honor veteran Broadway Performers of Color within a formulated, professionally produced variety show format. Also, Kevin will be featured in an off-Broadway musical called "The Kid" on 42nd St., and he is about to have his directorial debut on the cabaret circuit. His tribute to Lena Horne is slated for August. Black2Broadway will hold their 6th Annual celebration of the Tony Awards at Gospel Uptown (GU) on 125th St in Harlem on June 13 at 8pm.
