She played competitive softball her entire life and was recruited to play Division One softball at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.After college, Taylor returned to Los Angeles to attend Southwestern Law School, one of the most diverse law schools in the nation. As the first lawyer in her family, Taylor sought out the supportive community of the Latino Law Students Association at Southwestern, where she eventually was named president. Taylor is currently a member of the Latina Lawyers Bar Association and focuses on mentoring incoming and current Latina law students.Taylor's legal background is in consumer protection law, but she found that she could better serve business owners and entrepreneurs by sharing her legal knowledge with them.
