He came to the United States from Bangladesh when he was two years old and as a child quickly became interested in making films, following in his father's foot steps. As a child he was fascinated with audio visual technology, and in high school he worked at a local television station writing, directing, and producing shows. After graduation moved to Los Angeles for film school. Since then, he has made numerous television shows, movies of many genres, and documentaries.Today, Asif shares with us what it is like filming during COVID, stories about some of his favorite people he has worked with, people he looked up to in the industry, and talks about some of his upcoming projects.
