Pat has been the executive director of the Asperger Syndrome and High Functioning Autism Association [AHA] for over fifteen years. A social worker and educator by profession, she dedicates her time to individuals facing the daily challenges of living with an autism diagnosis, their families and the professionals who work alongside them. The three discuss the mission of the AHA, how the association helps foster self-advocacy, the importance of supporting individuals all across the spectrum, and the AHA’s upcoming conference.
