Did the title of this show get your attention? The forgotten generation called Generation X (anyone born between the years 1965 and 1981) is ignored and many times grouped in with the two behemoth generations they are squished between. My guest wrote the book, Passed Over and Pissed Off: The Overlooked Leadership Talents of Gen X, after realizing she was coaching a group of seven leaders who were all in the same place- being passed over waiting in line for the Baby Boomer above them to retire. Baby B’s are the original ME generation, and completely redefined “Youth”, invented “Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll”, and are still highly invested as being seen as eternally young.
