Informações:

Sinopse

The statistics about child abuse in the United States alone are shocking. For example: every 10 seconds a report of child abuse is made (either sexual, physical, emotional and/or physical or emotional neglect). It can be pretty overwhelming to face these facts. Yet if we stop at overwhelm nothing will ever change. There are things we can do. And given that April was National Child Abuse Prevention Month, now is the time. What if it doesn’t mean you have to become a social activist or volunteer or donate money? (I’m not saying to not do any of those things – you may choose to do all or some of these. But what if it’s not essential to creating the change?) What if it’s about focusing on YOU and what you can do in your own sphere of the world? Join me for a special radio show to discover pragmatic actions you can take to kick abuse in the caboose and create more generative and nourishing relationships with children in your family, community and beyond.
