Whether you’re a healthy person enhancing your life, or a disabled person transcending physical limitations, technology can be miraculous. Communication, music, information, physical wellbeing, what isn’t supported by technology today? But high tech can also challenge or intimidate us. Are we taking full advantage of what technology has to offer? What ideas, habits and beliefs block us? How can we shift our attitudes to embrace this new world? Let’s hear from two who are grateful for technology. One is Christine Benton, a smart, healthy 40-something woman who loves technology and all the learning and connecting it facilitates for her and her family. The other is our host, Beth Green, a woman who has struggled with chronic illness and disability her whole life, but who can be with people even when housebound and compose music even when too crippled to play.
