Sinopse
Whether we’re friends, colleagues, employee/employer, lovers, or members of the same group, we have the opportunity to support each other’s growth or reinforce each other’s wrong thinking or behavior. We are all responsible to be self-aware, but we’re also responsible for confronting others when they are in denial or being needlessly mean or self-centered. Do we? In fact, how often do we go into agreement instead? When something important is at stake, such as love or a job, many of us tend to excuse and justify others’ behaviors to avoid some potential negative consequence. Maybe we don’t want them to get mad at us. Maybe we want to let them off the hook so they’ll do the same with us. Maybe we just don’t want to think about anything very deeply at all and so we don’t question anything. Sure, we want to offer others love, but compassion is not collusion. What is compassion? What’s collusion? And which are you choosing in your relationships? Tune in, or call in and ask Beth to help.
