And we could insist that clothing be made by people who have rights, safety and decent wages; that it be made to last rather than be quickly tossed into our dumps; and that it be made with minimum pollution. In this show, we’re interviewing Andrew Morgan, the Director of “The True Cost,” a powerful film about the fashion industry from top to bottom. And it is an eye opener. There are horror stories, like the collapse of a factory in Bangladesh, where 1,127 workers died because they were forced to go back into a dangerous building despite their complaints.
