Thank you for following Everyday Leaders. Today’s Everyday Business Leader is Kerry Carmicheal I have been involved with The Refuge on many different levels from the very beginning. When the founding director moved to Florida, I had the honor and privilege of stepping in and leading the staff and volunteers to serve our community. We are all called to serve and help our neighbors, but it is an honor to be part of a community that cares deeply and loves intently. Many do not realize the needs that exist in our community – so awareness is key. But once you are aware of a need – you HAVE to respond. Especially for Christians – we are called to love. I am married and have six beautiful daughters and six amazing grandchildren. I love being a mamaw. I take my role in their lives seriously. Whether we are making cookies, working outside, or cuddling on the couch – it’s amazing. My husband and I continue to look for ways to love our family well. What do I want the most from The Refuge? I would love for our community
