Sinopse

Matthew 28:16-20; Romans 10:14 // Getachew BezabihPaul’s desire in writing to the Romans was to prepare them for his upcoming visit, which would be a time for both Paul and the Roman Church to be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith (Rom 1:12). This was a faith that was not ashamed of the Gospel (Rom 1:16-17). Paul was also committed to going and preaching the Gospel where no one else had been: “It has always been my ambition to preach the Gospel where Christ was not known” (Rom 15:20a). This was the impetus for his desire to continue to Spain after visiting Rome (Rom 15:24).The proclamation of the Gospel is an essential part of evangelism, along with acts of mercy and demonstrations of God’s power. Paul says in Rom 10:14-15, “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?... And, how can they hear without someone preaching to them?”This message challenges us in the 21st-century ministry that embodies the spirit of Paul’s Letter to the Romans. We will be mutually encouraged in our faith,
